The Battle for Mau Mau Island

The Battle For Mau Mau Island is an annual nonsense event, in which participants self-organize into teams, build makeshift sea vessels (or bring decorated/modified legitimate ones), and engage in mock battles, contests of pageantry, and other interactions over the course of a weekend, on a beach and the water around Jamaica Bay of New York City.
